Talemark is a culture diary: films and books go to the same place. You give a rating, write a line or two, drop it into a list. Months later you can find what you watched, what you read, and what it left behind.

The film of the book you read, the book behind the film you watched. Talemark links both to the same work — whichever edition you read, whichever language you watched it in.
When you finish a film or close a book, you pick the date and give it a rating down to half a star. Watch the same work again and the old entry is not overwritten — a new one is added beside it, and the page you reached in a book stays in the same record.
You can close a review behind a spoiler tag; anyone who wants to read it taps to open. Replies gather underneath the review itself, so there is nowhere else to look.
You decide both the name and the contents: a genre, a period, or a heading that means something only to you. The editorial lists Talemark puts together sit on the same shelf.
Every quote appears both on the book's own page and in your quote notebook. You will find it months later even if you no longer remember which book it came from.
How many films you watched, how many books you finished, which genres you leaned towards and which months you were busiest, all on one screen. Setting a yearly goal is optional.
Log your first film or book; the rest accumulates on its own. An account is free, your entries are yours, and you can export them whenever you want.
